It is believed that a marriage is a sacred bond of two souls and the union of two families. Kudrat & Lakshay’s magical wedding is testament to this belief.
Hosted at the Sheraton, Hua Hin, this wedding was a celebration of both the families, coming together to toast this newest addition to the tradition of love. Big smiles and cheerful laughter were constants at each event, whether it was the fun-filled sangeet or the relaxed pre-wedding rituals. While documenting their special moments we felt like a part of the family as they welcomed us with warmth. We came back from Kudrat & Lakshay’s wedding with fuller hearts.
On her special day, Kudrat wore heirlooms from when her mother was a bride. The groom wore an ivory Sherwani, complete with an embroidered cape. Every moment was intentional and emotional. Father-daughter duos of all ages from her family walked down the aisle and then entered Kudrat. Hand-in-hand with her father, the bride stepped towards Lakshay and her new life.
As storytellers, you’re always searching for honesty in the middle of all the noise. And with these two, it was found easily. The couple took their pheras on a shore-side mandap, with the chanting of mantras blending perfectly with the sound of crashing waves. One of our favourite nooks was a wall dedicated to commemorate the love stories from their families; with vintage wedding portraits, honouring the beautiful bond of marriage.
With happy hearts, Kudrat & Lakshay graced the dance floor with their first dance as a married couple at the after-party full of sparkle and celebration.
